Facial Aesthetic Surgery in Istanbul
Facelift, neck lift, and other facial procedures are personal decisions. I help you understand the options, prepare the information a surgeon needs for a preliminary review, and coordinate your visit to Istanbul.
Treatments I Can Help You Explore
Each option needs an individual assessment by a licensed surgeon.
Lifting and Contouring
- Facelift and mini or mid facelift — lifts and repositions sagging tissues of the face.
- Neck lift — addresses loose skin and visible bands in the neck.
- Brow lift and temple lift — raises a low or heavy brow line.
- Chin augmentation — improves chin projection and profile balance.
More Facial Options
- Rhinoplasty — see my Rhinoplasty page.
- Lip lift and lip augmentation — refines the shape and proportion of the lips.
- Buccal fat removal — reduces fullness in the lower cheeks.
- Facial fat injection, Botox, and fillers — minimally invasive options for volume and lines.
Good to Know
A facelift lifts loose skin and deeper tissues of the lower face, mainly along the jawline and neck; it does not stop your face from continuing to age naturally. Non-surgical options work differently: the effect of botulinum toxin (Botox) usually starts to fade after two to three months, and most dermal fillers last from about six months to two years, depending on the product and the area treated. Your doctor explains which approach fits your goals after an in-person assessment.
Lip Augmentation Results
Real lip augmentation before-and-after photos, shared with patient consent. Only the lip area is shown to protect privacy. Every result is individual: suitability and the treatment plan depend on an in-person assessment by your treating doctor, and no result is guaranteed.

Facelift Options at a Glance
“Facelift” covers several techniques. Names differ between clinics, so what matters is which layers are lifted and which areas are treated.
Classic Facelift
Lifts the skin and deeper tissues of the lower face and jawline, often together with the neck. It treats jowls and neck laxity.
Mid Facelift
Focuses on the cheeks and the area under the eyes, restoring volume and position to the middle of the face.
Endoscopic Lifts
Use small incisions, often hidden in the hairline, with a camera to lift the brow, temples, or mid face. Some clinics combine several of these under package names such as “5 in 1”; ask exactly which steps are included.
Brow, Temple, and “Fox Eye” Lifts
A brow lift raises a low or heavy brow; a temple (temporal) lift raises the outer brow and the outer corner of the eye. A “fox eye” or almond-eye look usually describes a lifted outer eye area, achieved surgically or with temporary thread or filler treatments. Results and longevity differ a lot between these approaches, so ask your surgeon what to expect from each.
Preparing for Your Preliminary Review
The more complete your first message is, the more useful the surgeon’s preliminary opinion can be. You decide what to share, and everything is handled confidentially.
- Photos of your face from the front, both sides, and at a 45-degree angle, with hair pulled back and no makeup
- Which areas bother you most: brow, eyes, cheeks, jawline, or neck
- Previous fillers, threads, Botox, or facial surgery, with approximate dates
- Your general health, any long-term conditions, and medicines or supplements you take
- Previous operations, especially in the same area
- Whether you smoke or vape, since smoking slows healing and many surgeons ask you to stop before and after surgery
- Your preferred travel dates, so planning can start early

Travel & recovery
Planning Your Trip
General guide before flying: 7–10 days after facial procedures
- Your surgeon decides how long you should stay in Istanbul after the procedure. I plan the trip around that advice, not the other way around.
- UK health guidance advises avoiding flights for 7 to 10 days after facial procedures such as a facelift, because surgery and long flights together raise the risk of blood clots.
- A treatment trip is not a holiday. Expect to rest, avoid alcohol, strong sun, swimming, and long sightseeing days while you recover.
- Ask before you book: where follow-up appointments take place, what happens if a complication occurs, and how aftercare is handled once you are home.
- Standard travel insurance usually does not cover complications from planned surgery. Check what the clinic and your own policy cover.

How I Help
Three clear steps, from your first message to follow-up.

1 — Share Your Goals
Tell me which treatment you are considering and, if you wish, share photos or medical reports.

2 — Preliminary Review
A licensed surgeon reviews your information and shares a preliminary opinion. This is not a diagnosis; the final plan follows an in-person examination.

3 — Plan, Travel, Follow-Up
If you decide to go ahead, I help organize appointments, share practical guidance on transfers and accommodation, and stay in touch after you return home.
More Facial Surgery Questions
How long do Botox and fillers last?
The effect of botulinum toxin usually starts to fade after two to three months. Most dermal fillers are temporary and last from about six months to two years, depending on the product and the treated area.
Is a facelift permanent?
A facelift can give a long-lasting improvement, but your face continues to age naturally. Results cannot be guaranteed, and swelling or numbness can take weeks to months to settle.
Is lip augmentation done with fillers or surgery?
Both are possible. Fillers add volume temporarily, while a lip lift is a surgical procedure that shortens the space between the nose and the upper lip. Your doctor explains which option fits your goals.
What is a “5 in 1” endoscopic facelift?
It is a clinic name for combining several lifting steps in one operation, rather than a standard medical term. The included steps differ between surgeons, so ask for a written list of what your plan contains.
How long should I stay in Istanbul after a facelift?
Your surgeon sets this after examining you. NHS guidance advises avoiding flights for 7 to 10 days after facial procedures.
Important
Facial procedures are medical decisions. Suitability, the final plan, and recovery are determined by the treating surgeon after an in-person examination. medtour.ist coordinates and guides; it does not provide medical treatment, and no result is guaranteed.
