Airport Transfers in Istanbul
Arriving for treatment should feel calm. I help you understand your transfer options and connect you with independent transfer providers, so you know who will meet you and where you are going.
How Transfer Support Works
Three simple steps, so you know what happens when you land.
Step 1
Share Your Arrival Details
Once your plan is clear, send me your arrival airport, flight number, and date.
Step 2
I Share Suitable Options
I point you to independent transfer providers and explain what to expect: meeting point, vehicle, and travel time to your clinic or hotel.
Step 3
You Confirm Directly
You confirm the transfer and its terms with the provider. If your flight changes, message me and I will help you update the plan.
Good to Know
Practical points for a smooth arrival in Istanbul.
Airports
- Istanbul has two international airports: Istanbul Airport (IST) on the European side and Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) on the Asian side.
- Travel time to the city depends on traffic, so plan extra time on your first day.
During Your Stay
- Transfers between your hotel and clinic can be planned the same way.
- Keep your clinic’s address and my WhatsApp number at hand when you land.
Before You Fly
Travel Documents
- Check that your passport is valid for your whole trip.
- Check Türkiye’s entry and visa rules for your nationality on official government sites before booking.
- Keep copies of your treatment plan and clinic address on your phone.
On Arrival
- Send me your flight number so changes can be followed.
- Have some local currency or a card for small costs, and a mobile data plan or eSIM.
- If you are having surgery, traveling with a companion is often recommended.
After Treatment
- Plan a direct, comfortable transfer to the airport; ask for help with luggage.
- Allow extra time at the airport and keep your aftercare documents in your hand luggage.
- Follow your doctor’s advice on when it is safe to fly.
