3. Coordinator role

medtour.ist may help users:

• understand available treatment pathways;
• communicate with healthcare professionals or providers;
• organize a preliminary review;
• coordinate appointments and share practical travel information;
• communicate before and after a planned treatment journey.

The treating healthcare professional or provider remains responsible for medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment decisions, and clinical care. medtour.ist does not act as a travel agency and does not sell treatment, travel, or accommodation packages.

4. Preliminary information and quotations

Remote assessments, treatment suggestions, schedules, provider package information, and quotations may change after medical review, examination, tests, provider confirmation, or changes in availability.

Only written and confirmed information relating to a specific request should be relied upon for booking or payment decisions.

5. Payments, deposits, cancellations, and refunds

Where a payment, deposit, or booking commitment applies, the relevant amount, recipient, inclusions, exclusions, cancellation conditions, and refund conditions should be communicated to the user before payment or confirmation.

Any provider-specific treatment or surgery deposit policy applies only where it has been expressly communicated for that booking. Website information alone does not create a fixed universal refund entitlement or cancellation rule.

6. Travel, accommodation, and transfers

Where requested, medtour.ist may share practical information about accommodation and local transfers and point users to independent providers. medtour.ist does not sell travel or accommodation services; bookings are made directly with the provider under its own terms, and availability and price should be confirmed with the provider before booking.

Users remain responsible for passports, visas, travel documents, insurance, and compliance with entry or travel requirements.

7. User responsibilities

Users should provide accurate and complete information relevant to their request and promptly communicate material changes.

8. Third-party providers

Healthcare providers, hospitals, accommodation providers, transport providers, and other third parties provide their own services under their own professional, contractual, and legal responsibilities.
