What Affects the Cost of Dental Treatment in Istanbul, Turkey
The cost of dental treatment depends on what your mouth actually needs, not on a package. The number of teeth, the material, the implant system, any bone grafting, and how many visits you need make the biggest difference. A fair quote only comes after a dentist has reviewed your X-rays or a 3D scan, and it should list every item in writing.
The Main Cost Factors
| Factor | Why it changes the plan | What to ask |
|---|---|---|
| Number of teeth | Treating 6 front teeth is a different plan from a full smile or a full arch. | Which teeth do you suggest treating, and why each one? |
| Material | Composite, E-max, and zirconia differ in strength, look, and lab work. | Which material, and why for my bite? |
| Implant system | Implant brands and components vary; documentation matters for future care at home. | Which brand, and will I receive the implant card and records? |
| Bone graft or sinus lift | Needed only if bone is not sufficient; adds time and sometimes a visit. | Did my scan show I need grafting? |
| Temporary teeth | Most implant plans need temporaries between visits. | Are temporaries included? |
| Number of visits | Implants often need two trips with a healing period between them. | How many visits, and how long each? |
| Diagnostics | A panoramic X-ray or 3D CBCT scan is the basis of an accurate plan. | Is the scan included in the plan? |
How a Quote Is Built
- You send recent photos and, if you have them, X-rays.
- A dentist gives a preliminary plan. It is not final.
- In-person exam and scan in Istanbul.
- Final written plan: every tooth, material, and step.
- You approve before any treatment starts.
What a Written Quote Should Include
- Each tooth and the treatment for it
- Material and lab type
- Implant brand, if any
- Scans, temporaries, and medications
- Number of visits and expected days in Istanbul
- What happens if a crown, veneer, or implant needs adjustment
- Follow-up after you return home
Red Flags
- A fixed “package” price before anyone has seen your X-rays
- Pressure to crown or file down healthy teeth
- No material or implant brand named in writing
- A plan that changes a lot on arrival without a clear reason
- No answer about follow-up after you fly home
Costs People Forget
- Flights and hotel nights
- A second trip for implants
- Extra nights if healing needs more time
- Follow-up care at home

Dental Cost FAQ
Why can’t you give me a price right away?
Because a responsible plan needs an X-ray or scan first. Without it, any number is a guess.
Why do quotes from different clinics differ so much?
They often include different numbers of teeth, materials, or steps. Compare item by item, not total to total.
Is the cheapest option a bad option?
Not always. The question is what is included and whether the plan fits your teeth.
Will the preliminary plan change?
It can, after the in-person exam. Any change should be explained and agreed before treatment.
Do you publish prices?
No. We share a written plan after review, so you see exactly what each item covers.
Content last reviewed: October 2026. We do not publish prices; every plan is individual.
